Spotted Sandpiper



Hello All,
Here is a image taken a week or so ago at my local reservoir. This is a Spotted Sandpiper, another wader I was lucky to see before it moved on with its migration. It came within about one yard of me and was so fast I could barely keep it in focus! I was pretty happy with this shot.
I am very anxious to get out to the nature center to shoot some warblers and other birds, but am so busy I do not know when I will get there. Oh well...

    Nice clear picture! The green/brownish water matches well with the sandpiper's color.
